3 weeks have gone by!

Wow, I can't believe three weeks have gone by since I last posted anything! It doesn't help that I'm frequently in bed by 8:30pm these days! :-)

Last weekend Libby and I took a trip down to south Florida for her godmother's wedding! The wedding was in Ft. Lauderdale but Libby and I stayed about 30 minutes away in Palm Beach County. Friday I left work at 10:00am, picked up Libby from school at 10:30 and we left our house by 11:00 on our way down. We got to the church and had the rehearsal and then we went for the rehearsal dinner. Saturday morning Libby and I had time to kill because the wedding wasn't unitl 4:00pm so we did some shopping and had some lunch before we went back to the hotel to start getting ready for the ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and it was so amazing to be there to get to see such a dear friend on the day she got married! :-) After the ceremony we went to the equally beautiful reception.

Happy Birthday Hannah and Pancho!

Yesterday our puppy turned 1 and today our kitties turned 3 years old! It seems like we've had them so much longer than just three years. When they came home three years ago (in April) they were the tiniest little things and Ryan wouldn't hold them without putting on his batting gloves first because she was scared of them. Once he got home with the kitties I walked over, picked them both up as they hissed and spit at me :-), and placed them on my chest where they curled up and went to sleep. :-)

Happy Birthday Bella!

We no longer have puppies! Our litte girl Bella turned 1 today! She is the sweetest puppy but gets in trouble constantly because she is such a curious little girl - who loves to chew ANYTHING she can get. But today was her birthday so her birthday present was that she didn't get in trouble the entire day!!

Busy week!

It has been a long week! Last Friday I picked up Libby from afterschool and we went and picked up her best friend Maddy to come spend the night with Libby. They had a great time and were up VERY late giggling and talking. Saturday morning we took Maddy home at about 11:00am and then I delivered some of the jewelry to ladies who ordered from my jewelry party at the end of January. Saturday afternoon Libby and I went to the Gator baseball game and enjoyed watching the Gators beat USF 4-1. Sunday we met up with Libby's friend Riley and her mom and we took the girls to see Never Say Never (the Justin Beiber movie). It was actually more like a documentary than a movie and showed him behind the scences at his concerts and how he got started in music. The girls LOVED the movie and were whispering back and forth the whole time.

Monday night we had dinner with Ryan's parents and finally had a chance to share some news with them! I gave them a photo album and here is what it had inside:
However, there's been an update since that photo album was done. I went to the doctor yesterday and they did an ultrasound and my due date is October 5th!

The year is flying right along!

Wow, the year is flying right along! All the reds have come down in the house since Valentine's Day passed this week. I already miss the Valentine's Day decor!


This year I was behind in sending out Libby's Valentine's so unless we saw you the weekend of Valentine's Day you didn't get yours so I'll post it here so you know what we intended to send out to everyone - but just never got around to doing! :-)

Tuesday night was the science fair at Libby's school and she volunteered to submit a project.

She didn't win but I was proud of her for volunteering to do a project.

And since all of the red Valentine's Day decorations came down this week up went the green! We are now ready for St. Patrick's Day!

End of my birthday/getting ready for Valentine's Day!

I had the last of my birthday celebrations yesterday. :-( Ryan and I met up with his parents for lunch at a restaurant in High Springs. After lunch with them we headed back home for a relaxing afternoon at home. It was a fun week of birthday celebrations for me!

Last weekend I decorated for Valentine's Day! I wanted to do it earlier but since I was having the jewelry party at my house last weekend I thought I'd hold off until everyone left so I put out my Valentine's decorations last Sunday. I love Valentine's Day...I love the reds and pinks and I LOVE the hearts (I'm always a sucker for hearts...especially silver hearts!). Here is our entry table:

On the table is the cute little topiary I made last Sunday. I think it is adorable!!

My beautiful roses that I got for my birthday started to sag on the stems so I cut the stems off and floated the roses in a heart-shaped glass bowl so my beautiful birthday roses have taken on a second life as a Valentine's decoration!

Tuesday was my special day and Libby and Ryan made sure to spoil me. :-) I'm the first one up in the house every morning and as I went about my morning of letting the dogs outside, feeding the cats, getting ready for work, getting Libby up and ready for school I found birthday cards all over the house. :-) Ryan got up and made me breakfast (I haven't had breakfast before leaving for work in YEARS! Usually I just have a granola bar once I'm at work). I went to work and my co-workers brought me in a chocolate fudge cake, a plant, and 52 ounces of chocolate candy for my candy dish on my desk. They know me so well! :-) A little later in the morning a beautiful bouquet of roses arrived from my beautiful husband. :-) At home that night Ryan made me a very delicious dinner and after dinner we had birthday cake and I opened my presents. It was a great day!
